Here's a way to start a new blog in April - celebrate National poetry month by writing a poem-a-day. Today's topic is "post," and what better post than a blog post :)
Writing, thinking,
reflecting, and
learning,
are the tasks I take up willingly.
Searching for ideas,
gleaning inspiration
from the words that drip out:
this can happen
when my mind is open.
And what better way to be open
than to share these words
with a world that is willing
to read them when I post
on my writing blog.
